Nancy was born on September 30, 1935, to Lawrence and Lucille Proctor. At age 6 she was diagnosed with Equine Polio, although this left Nancy with some limitations, she did not let Polio keep her from leading a ‘normal’ life.
After graduating high school, she furthered her education at University of Connecticut, graduating with MBA in food and nutrition. On September 11, 1955, Nancy was united in marriage to James P. Swenson whom she met with he was serving as a recruiter with the Air Force in Parsons, KS.
Nancy had a passion for music and crafting and was a talented seamstress.
Preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Lucille Proctor; husband, James P. Swenson; brother, Larry Proctor; son-in-law, David Norris.
Survived by her children, Sharyl Norris, Mark (Cleo), Stephen; grandchildren, Vivienne, Lucy. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
