Phil had a personality unlike any other and had such a positive attitude throughout his battle with Multiple Myeloma. All he wanted was to spend time with those he loved making memories and he did that up until the very end. We will all hold those memories near and dear to our hearts. He had the "gift of gab" and put it to use everywhere he went. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, and spent all of his summers up at the cabin. This world won't be the same without him and is a better place because he was in it. He will be greatly missed!
The Masonic Cancer Center at the U of M is where he was receiving his care. Thanks to their clinic trials and AMAZING staff we had more time with him than we were told we would when he was diagnosed. We ask that in lieu of flowers donations are made to help fund cancer research.
