Richard, Linda, Brandon, Emily, and the entire Green family......may your memories fill your heart with love and peace as you bid farewell to such a wonderful man. I'm so glad that I had the privilege to meet Richard. I remember him to be a very kind and gentle man. How blessed you all were to share time in this world with him.   

He is at peace now. May God's grace comfort you now and until you meet again.

Growing up with you was full of beautiful memories I will always treasure for the rest of my life.  You have always been a massive inspiration to me, and you're one of the kindest and gentlest people I have ever known. Although the distance has been very hard, I just want you to know that I love you very much and I always will. I am so glad that I was able to see you for my graduation in PA. That meant the absolute world to me, and I will always cherish that visit. Thank you so much for everything you have done and inspired. I will always miss you dearly.

Richard, I regret never really having an opportunity to set and visit with you.   But I wanted to thank you for being such a loving Grandfather to Brandon and Emily.  I adored watching you with Brandon when he was so young, and the stories you would share about his shenanigans.  You were Emily's favorite for quite some time when she was a baby.  Thank you raising such a loving and compassionate son, whom I'm so very proud to be married to.  The two of you are so much alike and that is truly a compliment.  I admired the love between you and Wanda and cherish every moment we spent together on vacations.  You are the one and only reason that I'm a Decorator, because you planted that seed over 25 years ago and believed in me.Rick and I are so relieved for you that you are no longer trapped by Parkinson's,but you will truly and deeply be missed by all of us.  We love you for eternity.

Dick, thank you for being such an inspirational Grandfather to Brandon and Emily.  They both respect you to the moon and back.  I absolutely loved how you adored Brandon and later Miss Emmy. Thank you for mentoring and raising the incredible man that I am married to.  He is so much like you, and that's truly a compliment.  I regret never really setting and talking with you extensively....I think a lot of that was from my upbringing and not knowing how to relate to a "fatherly figure".  I'm glad that I was able to really embrace and hug you.  I credit you solely for inspiring me 25 years ago to become a decorator.  You planted a seed that I will certainly continue to nurture....in your honor.  The love that you and Wanda share is like nothing I have ever seen before.  I will always treasure our vacation together with you in Florida.  You will be deeply, deeply missed!

As brothers go, Richard was the absolute best. He truly epitomized the words of that song "He ain't heavy, he's my brother." He was always there for me. Growing up we were like twins, doing everything together. We started school in the same grade. He was always big brother looking out for the little numbskull. And that never changed throughout our lives. One of Richard's favorite songs was "Old Man River". For me, life is like that song . . . it just keeps rolling along. And although Richard is gone from us now physically . . . he is very much like that river--he will just keep rolling along forever  in my mind and heart.  Until we me again my Brother. Richard i have all the respect in the world for you i will miss you you were a great man to me

Thank you so much for all those beautiful pictures...what a walk down memory lane. I still remember riding on his shoulders out to the school bus at Motley, he also made a wooden rocking chair for me for Christmas when I was probably 2 or 3 years old. I remember Mother padding it and covering it, it was awesome. He was a wonderful brother and a wonderful man, I loved him so much and always will.
