Dear Scott & Marianne, Lynne and I are deeply moved to hear of your son's passing. We pray that the Lord has received him with open arms. We never had a chance to meet him....yet we believe he was of "Great Character and Love" knowing the two of you. Our sincere condolences of his passing. Words cannot express the pain and sorrow of hearing of Tad's recent passing (He was greatly loved and admired). Tad was a very beloved friend and someone I will always be very proud and honored to call one of my closest buddies growing up in Evergreen Colorado). Tad was a wonderful long time meal delivery volunteer at the nonprofit Open Arms of Minnesota, he delivered with his coworker Michael every 3rd Tuesday starting in 2001. He will be missed.

My sincere condolences to Tad's family.  I met him quite some time ago when he visited Guatemala to develop some projects for Target.  He was a great person, very easy going and always proud of his family, since he kept mentioning all of you during his visits.  My prayers are with all of you.

I am truly sorry to hear about the passing of Tad.  I had the pleasure of working with him at Target about 2 years ago when he trained me in to the position and group I'm in today.  He was a very kind, open, and honest person and approached difficult situations at work with kindness, tact, and professionalism.  He is and will be missed. I am so sorry to hear of your loss.   I worked with Tad at Target (since 2012) where we met and had an immediate connection as we had many things in common.  To start, he was a Packer fan as am I, but there were many other things that we had in common.  He was a great colleague and an even better man.  He shared many stories about his career but there was one topic he always came back to, his family.   He was so proud of his boys and shared many stories about you over the years (wrestling, packer games, fishing, getting ready for college, etc).   You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am deeply saddened to hear about Tad Lawson passing away. I first met Tad in 2004 during my official visit to Minneapolis - our team had been recently formed and it was the first time all members from global offices were meeting together at one location. Tad was assigned to my group, which included two more team members - from Korea and Hong Kong. Thereon, I met Tad on numerous other occasions on his visits to our office in India and when I travelled to Minneapolis.

  

An imposing personality in stature- Tad often shared jokingly how people regularly compared -even mistook- him for Steve Austin, the Wrestler - a perception which would be further reinforced if anyone saw him munching down 4-5 raw chili peppers (I am an Indian and I still can't take beyond 2 bites before wimping out..) - the Tad Lawson I met and knew was by heart & action, an extremely kind and caring person.. and I experienced that on my 2nd day in Minneapolis in office early morning when I shared how I had spent hours the previous evening, trying to find & buy a calling card so I could phone back home to New Delhi and talk to my family. In an instant, Tad flipped out his own personal calling card, handed it to me and said "Use this, call your family and talk to them for as long as you want. Keep my card till we find you one and if we don't, keep using mine. You should always get to talk to family". I purposely insert his reply in quotes since I have not forgotten what he said and never will, and more so, the way he said it - his gesture wasn't company procedure, it wasn't in the book of rules on how to respond to a confused visitor, it wasn't a rhetoric remark in the air - it felt genuine, as from a caring friend and colleague, a man who loves his family and understands the restlessness and pain of being away from them.

 

Times and teams may have changed, but what I'm sure anyone here in India who met Tad would consistently recollect, is his disarming smile, his warm approach and how much a funny and friendly person he was to talk with (his recounts over team lunches, of a turbulent trip he experienced on an airline, or a travel experience in South America- are ones for my memoirs with sentences that will begin with, "a friend I knew told me..." ). Tad Lawson, I will always remember you fondly.

I feel sad about Tad death, I remember him in Guatemala due to was a tall man an my car was little, we had a good time and learn each other.Rest in pace Tad!!

I worked with Tad for a short time at Target and he was always a person that would make time to help others.  He volunteered on a regular basis and would always help a fellow co-worker because it was the right thing to do.  He would share stories about his family and kids and one could easily tell he was a proud family man.  Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Tad was one of the early adopters of the Genesys Works program at Target, managing a student from Target's 2012 class of high school students. Tad was a very caring manager and mentor to his Genesys Works Intern--taking the time necessary to guide his young intern on a positive life trajectory. While I didn't know Tad outside of work, watching him interact with this high school student tells me he was an outstanding family man. It was an honor to have worked with Tad. He will be greatly missed.

From Guatemala City, a deep sadness from our hearts. He left was a key part for road warrior project many years ago. Today this project is very important part of our Quality Inspection for Target Sourcing Services.  He will be dearly missed not only in Minneapolis he impacted many countries too.

Very sad to hear this news. I had the honor of knowing Tad at Target corporation. It was just a couple of months ago he took me and my friends in his car that he loved so much out to lunch for sushi and great conversation. He will be dearly missed.

I remembering meeting Tad during a project that took us around the world. One night in China, I was sitting next to Tad during dinner. He was always trying different foods. One dish was Jelly fish. I could not try it but Tad did. I asked him after dinner what is was like, and he said he actually wanted to spit it out. It was great opportunity to get to know Tad and a pleasure to work with him on the project. He will be greatly missed.
