

Virginia Mae Eichholz passed away peacefully on February 14, 2018 at 85 years of age. She will be missed by her loving husband of 67 years, Clifford; children, Ray (MaryJane) of Nevada, Wayne (Chhai) of Florida, Rick (Sherry) of Minnesota, Kathy (Bruce) McIntyre of New Zealand and Dan (April) of Minnesota; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Susan Stuardi; many nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Walter, Sr. and Ida Mae Kennedy; brother, Walter Kennedy, Jr.; and sister, Gayle Blackwell.
Virginia enjoyed growing up in Duluth, MN and on Elbow Lake, Cook, MN. Cliff and Virginia married in 1950 and moved from Minneapolis to Coon Rapids early in their marriage and lived there until they moved to Blaine in 1978, Mora in 2003 and Cambridge, MN in 2016.
Virginia has had an immeasurable impact on the lives of her family and community. Her generosity and passionate concern for the health and well-being of so many family members, friends, and even complete strangers marked her life right to the end. She enjoyed her many years of work and volunteering in her local church, communities and VFW Women’s Auxiliary, as she developed and coordinated programs, events, food co-ops, bookstores and more. At 60 years of age, Virginia completed her degree as a nutritionist and for many years, she and Cliff worked as nutrition consultants.
Virginia’s son, Rick Eichholz will officiate the Memorial Service, which will be held at 11AM, Monday, February 26th at Stanchfield Baptist Church, 38850 Midway St. NE, Stanchfield, MN. Internment will take place in the spring at Stanchfield Baptist Cemetery.
