Adeline was born in Forest Hill, N.Y., to her late parents, Steven and Madaline Caccavale. She was the beloved wife of Felice, who passed 35 years ago. Felice was a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served aboard the USS Macon.
They raised four boys - Stephen, Philip, Frank and Joe from her home - the home she loved and lived in most of her life.
Adeline battled cancer for 10 years, and stunned her doctors with her strength and her will to live. She lived without ever complaining, not a single word about her situation or her pain. Her passion was having her children and grandchildren around her. All of her boys live close to her, and would see her daily, spending all their time with her. She enjoyed cooking Sunday and holiday dinners and having everyone over.
She was sad about not being able to spend more time with her sister, Margarite. They were very close, but she was also battling cancer. Prayer was an important part of her, she prayed always.
Being such a close family, we are struggling with her passing.
In addition to her husband and her parents, Adeline is predeceased by her sister, Margarite. Surviving are her boys - Stephen, Philip, Frank and Joe; her grandchildren - Dominick, Felicia, Jean, Frank, Nancy, Janelle and Stephen; and her great-grandchildren - Angelina, Rocco, Carmela, Valentina, Maddie, Faith and Daniel.
Due to the restrictions of the pandemic, Adeline will be entombed with her beloved husband, Felice on Saturday, April 11th at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale. A Memorial Remembrance will be planned for the future when it will be possible.
