Alan A. Illicete

Alan worked for Nassau BOCES in Outdoor and Environmental Education, and was a proud U.S. Army veteran.

Surviving is his father, Matthew Illicete; and his siblings - his sister, Cynthia Illicete Burns and brother-in-law, John; his brother, Matthew J. Illicete and sister-in-law, Claire; his sister Mari Camm and brother-in-law, Joseph; his sister, Jamie Illicete and brother-in-law, David Sheets; his sister, Toni Illicete and her boyfriend, Robert Weber; and his brother, James Illicete and sister-in-law, Mary. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews - Ashley, Matthew, Michael, Stephen and Paul Illicete, Thomas (Patricia) Jackson; Gary (Carolina) Lagana; Kristine Sheets; and Christopher, Melanie, Rebecca (David) Roehl, Joseph, Peter, Ann Marie, Emily, Faith, Anthony, Gregory and Theresa Illicete.

Alan is predeceased by his beloved mother, Millie, and his brother, Anthony Gordon.

Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday morning, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church in Amityville. Interment will follow at Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale.
