Dorota Piatkowska

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorota Piatkowska, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, who passed away on January 20th, 2025. Dorota was 51 years old and was originally from Poland. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and warmth.

Dorota was married to Zbigniew for 30 years, and together they raised three children—Karol, Marlena, and Piotr. She was also a proud grandmother to Leon, who brought her immense joy. Dorota's love for her family and friends was unmatched, and she touched the lives of all who knew her with her compassion and generosity.

Dorota is survived by her siblings Slawek, Pawel, Anna, Grazyna, Monika, Malgorzata, and Katarzyna who will carry her memory with them always. She was a loving sister, and her presence will be deeply missed by her family.

Dorota was known for her warmth, her caring nature, and her ability to make everyone around her feel special. She was a wonderful mother, a true friend, and a light in the lives of those who were lucky enough to know her. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A visitation for Dorota will be held Monday, January 27, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at D'Andrea Bros.Funeral Home, 99 Oak Street, Copiague, NY 11726. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 1 Molloy St, Copiague, NY 11726.
