Emma Vurro

Mrs. Vurro was born in Triggiano, Italy. Beloved by her family and friends, she is also lovingly known by her customers in her proprietorship of the Captree Wine & Liquor Store in West Islip.

Emma is survived by her children - her daughter, Marylu Vurro and her son, Richard Vurro; and her sister, Constance Cava. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank; her brothers - Philip Pagliarulo, Anthony Pagliarulo, John Pagliarulo and Vincenzo Pagliarulo; and her sisters - Rosa Cava, Lena Pagliarulo and Lisetta DeToffol.

Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Saturday and Sunday, from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be offered on Sunday evening at 8:00 p.m., by the Rev. Paul Vaccaro of Copiague Christian Church. On Monday, all will gather at the funeral home by 10:00 a.m., when Morning Prayers will be offered, and the Cortege will process to Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, Suffolk Region, 75 Davids Drive, Hauppauge, 11788; or to the Copiague Christian Church, 250 Pinelawn Avenue, Copiague, New York 11726. Envelopes for both will be available at the funeral home.
