James was born in Brooklyn to his parents, Frank and Josephine. He attended Copiague schools and graduated from Copiague High School in 1968. He joined the U.S. Navy and was a proud veteran.
“He marched to a different drum”…says his love, Leda Sullivan. A man with a contagious sense of humor, Jim loved to dance, and enjoyed going to Bally’s to play the slots. He found simple joy in cooking, and spending time at home in his own backyard. Jim had a knack for fixing things, just like his Dad. He could fix anything and was so good at building anything needed by his family from small repairs to building decks. Jim lived for his family, he was a beloved father and brother. He is survived by all his family.
