Mr. Tetro was a life member of the Copiague Fire Department, as well as an extremely dedicated volunteer in many aspects of his community. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
Predeceasing him is his beloved wife, Marguerite; who passed only six months ago. Surviving are his children - his daughter, Alisa; and his son, Thomas.
Family and friends will gather for viewing and visitation at the Copiague Fire Department Headquarters. Visiting hours are on Wednesday, from 7 - 9:30 p.m.; and on Thursday, from 2 - 4:30 and 7 - 9:30 p.m. Catholic Wake Services and Firematic Services will be held on Thursday evening.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 9:45 a.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption R.C. Church in Copiague. Interment will follow in Breslau Cemetery in Lindenhurst.
