Bert C. Bryan, Jr., born July 31, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio, to Suzanne (Barry) Bryan and Bert C. Bryan, Sr., passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, after a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by the family he cherished above all else.
Bert attended Greenhill School in Dallas and graduated from Austin College with a degree in Business Administration. Early in his career, he was recruited by Cellular One to relocate to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he helped develop the corporate cellular wireless industry and quickly rose through management. Following the company’s acquisition by AT&T, Bert continued his work in the wireless industry, building a respected career that spanned more than 40 years. In early 2000, Bert and his family returned to Texas, where he lived for the remainder of his life.
Bert was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He was the beloved husband of Erinn (Jackson) Bryan and the proud, adoring father of Blake and Morgan. His love for his wife and daughters was the center of his life; not a day passed without him reminding them how deeply he loved them. His quiet strength, warmth, and kindness filled every space he entered, and his laughter and generosity touched all who knew him.
Bert also had a deep passion for high-performance vehicles and the thrill of the open road. He especially enjoyed participating in performance driving programs, where his enthusiasm, focus, and sense of adventure truly came to life. It was a pursuit that brought him great joy and reflected his appreciation for precision, skill, and the experience of being fully present in the moment.
Those blessed to call him family or friend, will remember him for his unwavering love and deep appreciation for life’s simple joys: time with loved ones, good conversation, and the comfort of home. Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave endures, woven into the countless lives he touched with compassion and grace.
In addition to his wife and daughters, he is survived by his mother, Suzanne (Barry) Bryan; his sister, Kelly Bryan; his brother, Todd Bryan; his brother-in-law, Jay Tabora; and his niece, Katharine Tabora. He was preceded in death by his father, Bert C. Bryan, Sr.
A memorial service will be held on April 17, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home, 400 Freeport Parkway, Coppell, Texas 75019. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to cancer research at www.cancer.org.
We were, and will always be, incredibly blessed to have shared our lives with such a wonderful husband, father, and friend. His love remains our greatest gift and our greatest comfort.
