Betty was born January 15, 1959 in Monrovia, Liberia. She was a graduate of Oscar Rose College and held various roles in bookkeeping and nutritional services over the years. She was most recently a Nutritional Health Service Supervisor at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Betty loved her family, friends, and God. She had a very strong faith and was a member of Calvary Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Dominique Dennis, her brother, Kedrick Taylor, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Q. Taylor.
She was an amazing mother, sister, and friend. She was a mentor to many and always offered to listen, provide advice, and support. She was a caring, compassionate, and selfless person. She will be deeply missed and until we are reunited, her memory, love, and legacy will live on through us.
A memorial service for Betty will be held Monday, June 20 at 11:00 AM at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home, 400 Freeport Pkwy, Coppell, TX 75019.
We want to thank all the family and friends who have reached out during this extremely difficult time with prayers, messages of love, and support.
