

고 한 장로님은 1937년 충청남도 부여에서 태어나 서라벌예대을 졸업한후 1964년 한순자 권사님과 결혼한후 2남1녀의 가정을 이루셨습니다. 현대건설에 근무하시다 1977년 사랑하는 가족들의 더 나은 삶을 위해 미국으로 이민한후 택사스 케롤튼에서 45년간 가족에 되한 헌신과 노력으로 화목한 가정을 이루셨습니다. 힘들고 고달픈 이민생활 과정에 하나님을 영접하시게 되었고, 장로 안수를 받으신 후 달라스 연합교회를 소천하실때까지 섬기셨습니다. 고 한창희 장로님은 장남, 차남, 딸 그리고 두 며느리와 8명의 손주와 증손주를 두셨습니다.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Elder Chang Hui Han, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and devoted servant of God. He peacefully went home to be with the Lord on January 28th, at the age of 87.
Born in 1937 in Buyeo, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea, Elder Han lived a life marked by dedication, faith, and perseverance.
He grew up in Kimpo with dedicated parents and 3 sisters. After completing his studies at Seorabeol University, he married Deaconess Han Soon-Ja in 1964, and together they built a loving family. Elder Han worked at Hyundai, where he contributed his skills and dedication to the company for many years.
In 1977, Elder Han and his family immigrated to the United States, settling in Carrollton, Texas, where they would live for 45 years. Despite the challenges of immigrant life, Elder Han remained steadfast in his faith. During this time of hardship, he came to accept the Lord as his Savior and was later ordained as an elder.
Throughout his life, Elder Han demonstrated an unwavering commitment to his faith and worked very hard to provide for his family.
Elder Han’s talents extended beyond his spiritual gifts. He was a gifted musician, known for his skillful playing of the accordion and guitar. He also had a passion for calligraphy, creating beautiful works of art that reflected his meticulous nature and appreciation for beauty.
Elder Han is survived by his wife, Deaconess Han Soon-Ja; two sons-Jake(Jinkyu), Matt(Jeongwon); one daughter-Karen(Jungah); two daughters-in-law; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was also cherished by many friends, family members, and fellow believers. His legacy of love, faith, and service will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
