Lawrence Anthony Paroski was born October 4, 1964 in Dallas, Texas to Tom Leslie and Mary Pauline (Konderla) Paroski, the 7th of 7 children and went to be with the Lord December 1, 2014 at the age of 50 years, 1 month and 27 days.
Lawrence attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help until the 6th grade, St. Elizabeth until 8th Grade and graduated from Bishop Dunne High School in 1983. His first job was at Captain D’s Restaurant in Dallas, where he was promoted to store manager when he was only 18 years old. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1991 from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in Pomona, California. Lawrence and Sylvie were married in 1989 and lived in Northern California while Sylvie attended Stanford Medical School. Lawrence worked for Advantech in Silicone Valley as Senior Engineer, and was eventually promoted to Department Manager. He later worked for Electroglass as the Quality Control Department Manager, spending much of his time traveling to both domestic and international vendors in Taiwan, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Both Lawrence and Sylvie lived in Northern California until Sylvie graduated from Medical School, and then moved to Texas. Lawrence and Sylvia had three children; Anton was born in 1995 in California, Joseph was born in 2001 in California and Sarah was born in 2003 in Carrollton, Texas. Lawrence and Sylvie opened on OBGYN Medical Office in Flower Mound Texas where Sylvie was the Doctor and Lawrence was the Office Manager. Lawrence and Sylvie divorced in 2014.
Lawrence was actively involved and deeply committed to the young adults in Boy Scout Troop 840 in Coppell, where he was the Scout Master for the past two years. He participated in the High Adventure Camps at 1) Philmont, New Mexico with a 90 mile hike, 2) Northern Tier, Canada with a 100 mile canoeing adventure, and 3) the Sea Base Florida scuba trip. He was inducted into The Order of the Arrow, and also the prestigious Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He helped guide many young scouts toward a moral and ethical lifestyle, as well as respect for nature. His oldest son Anton became an Eagle Scout and was later inducted into The Order of the Arrow and his youngest son Joseph is working toward his Life Scout. Lawrence loved his daughter, Sarah, and told stories to everyone that would listen about her love for Art and Music. He was always so proud of the special cards she would lovingly make for him. Music has always been important in the Paroski home, and all three children have studied the French Horn and Piano.
Lawrence shared a lasting love with his brother Bill for the Dallas Cowboys. He loved his family and friends, and was always finding ways to get the family together for parties. Family was his first priority before anything else, and he instilled that virtue in his children as well as to extended family and friends. He was much beloved by many and easily made good friends with everyone he met. His whole life, Lawrence has made efforts to have lasting contacts and relationships, and regularly made efforts to visit people and stay in touch. His legacy of loving respect was inherited and he passed it down to his children
