

A devoted wife, loving mother and proud grandmother, Martha Lipp Boyette (“Grammy”) passed away on February 26, 2015 with her daughter and son by her side. Born on October 11, 1936, she is preceded in death by her husband LaVon Boyette, parents Hugo and Laurence Lipp. Martha and LaVon were married for 33 years. She was born in Dallas, TX, graduated from Sunset HS and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of North Texas. She was a teacher, square dancer, avid bridge player and a faithful servant. She was a loyal friend and had many that loved and adored her. She was an outstanding grandmother that was extremely involved in her grandchildren’s lives. They all loved her dearly. She survived a courageous fight with cancer in the 1980s living to touch many lives. She is survived by her loving children Becky Carver and Brad Boyette, son-in-law Greg Carver, Michele Boyette, grandchildren Cody Carver, Clay Carver, Kennedy Carver, Tatum Boyette, and Bryson Boyette. Visitation will be held at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home, 400 Freeport Parkway, Coppell, TX on Sunday, March 1st between 4:00 – 6:00pm. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, March 2nd at First United Methodist Church of Coppell, 420 S. Heartz Rd., Coppell, TX. For those inclined, the burial will take place following the Memorial at Laurel Land Cemetery, 6000 S. R.L. Thorton Freeway, Dallas, TX.
