Susamma Paul (Chinamma), daughter of the late Mr Abraham and Soosamma Abraham, was born in Pampady, Kottayam on May 20, 1952. She grew up with seven siblings: Annamma Cherian, Late Regi Abraham, Late Babu Abraham, Mani Abraham, Thomas Abraham, Kuriakose Abraham, and Lalu Abraham. She was happily married to the late Paul Raju in Kattappana in 1973 and blessed with 3 beautiful children. Susamma later moved to the United States in 1998 where she was surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her three children: Gikku, Gina, and Giju and daughter/son in-laws: Laiju, Siby, and Riny. Susamma was showered with love by her grandchildren: Jeevan, Justin, Sarah, Noah, Noel, Sharon, Teresa, Maria, and Noby.
Susamma was God-fearing, taught her children the importance of attending church, and prayed daily. She always emphasized the importance of God and education to her children and grandchildren. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was always willing to help and good to those whom she met.
Susamma was a dedicated and independent mother who remained persistent in difficult circumstances. Our family is eternally grateful for those who visited and cared for Susamma. Thank you to all the family, friends,
church members, co-workers, and all priests, especially our vicar Fr. Mathew Kurian Munjanath for guiding, supporting, and comforting us during this difficult time.
