

Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Burgundy Eaton; his daughters, Ashlee Eaton and Amber Eaton Keener; and his stepdaughters, Corde Cumba, and Stephanie Feist and her husband Brandon Feist.
He was a proud grandfather to Michael Keener, Adam Brockett, Audrey Keener, Brooklyn Branum, Carter Keener, Ethan Branum, and Aubrey Feist.
Tom is also survived by his siblings Mike Eaton and Bill Eaton; He leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandson SSG Devon Keener; nieces Rhonda McKown and Patsy McKown; sisters Cissy McKown, Judy Wollard, and Kay Mincher; his oldest brother Ray Eaton.
Tom was born on July 21, 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Weatherford High School and later attended Weatherford College in 1974.
Tom proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division, an accomplishment he considered one of the most defining and meaningful achievements of his life.
Following his military service, Tom built a successful career in the restoration and disaster recovery industry. His decision to join Steamatic, Inc. proved pivotal in his life. Starting as a transitioning veteran, he rose to become General Manager of Steamatic in Lubbock, Texas and later served as Project Manager for Blackmon Mooring’s Steamatic Catastrophe Large Loss Division, working on major projects internationally.
Tom loved beginning each day with a cup of coffee, reading the daily news and political articles, with his beloved dog Murphy, faithfully by his side. Before his battle with leukemia, he also enjoyed golfing, watching football, cheering for his favorite teams – the Dallas Cowboys, the Coppell Cowboys, and the Texas Rangers. Among Tom’s favorite things were spending time at his ranch, collecting knives, and reading from his personal library.
Tom will be remembered for his deep love of family, his pride in serving his country, his strong work ethic, and his sense of humor.
A visitation will be held Friday, March 13, at 12pm with the service beginning at 1pm
