Barbara L. Bozeman

Barbara Lynn Bozeman, 55 of Copperas Cove, TX died July 13th, 2020 at Advent Health in Killeen, TX from complications after suffering a stroke. Barbara was born June 19,1965 at Fort Campbell, KY to Patricia (Pelley) Exferd and Richard Getty.

Barbara graduated high school at Richland Northeast, Columbia, SC with the class of 1983. After high school she met the love of her life Andrew Bozeman in Columbia, SC. Barbara and Andrew celebrated 37 years of marriage in January.

Barbara was a homemaker and military spouse, proudly travelling with her husband to assignments at Fort Stewart, GA; Schweinfurt, Germany; Stuttgart, Germany; and Fort Hood, TX. She cared for her family and supported her husband through many deployments. She loved life and lived for her children.

She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Getty of Avilla, MO.

Survivors include her husband, Andrew (Drew) Bozeman of Copperas Cove, TX; sons Richard D. Bozeman , Oliver P. Bozeman of Norfolk, VA, and Christopher Bozeman of Copperas Cove, TX; mother Patricia (Pelley) Exferd and step-father George Exferd of Killeen, TX; step-mother Linda Getty of Avilla, MO; sisters Jennifer Getty of Athens, AL and Mary Hogan of Westland, MI along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday July 18th beginning at 10am at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove, TX.
