Funeral services for Connie Chong-Ko Cannon, of Copperas Cove will be held on Friday November 8, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove with burial to follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
Connie was born on September 12, 1944 in Kyeong-Buk, South Korea. Connie became a United States Citizen on August 27, 1981.
She married Jackie Cannon on October 10, 1972 in Coalwood, WV. Together they raised their daughter, Diana.
Connie loved flowers and gardening and even found time for knitting and crochet.
She is survived by her husband, Jackie of Copperas Cove, daughter, Diana Cannon Townsend and husband, Derrick of Killeen, two grandsons; Brayden Draper (8) and Derian Townsend (4) and granddaughter, Nadia Townsend (1).
The family will be receiving guests for a time of visitation on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 6-8 p.m.
