

Dennis Taylor Walker was born on January 25, 1946 to Zack Taylor and Grace Agnes Tackett. He was born at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. His formative years were spent traveling with his family in the USA and Germany. During this time, three sisters were born; Sissy first, then Yvonne, and later Nora. His father was in the U.S. Army as a Warrant Officer.
He finished school at Lampasas High School in 1964. He went to college at San Angelo State University and degreed in Business and Finance in 1968. His daughter was born November 26, 1968. Her name is Patricia Elizabeth. She was born in Lampasas, Texas.
Dennis was drafted into the US Army in 1968 and started his active career in Colorado Springs, Colorado; Anchorage, Alaska; and Fort Hood, Texas where he met and married Jacquelyn Lou Post (Sodke maiden name), August 16, 1976. She had two children, Terri Lee Post and Joshua David Post. He was reassigned to Germany in 1978. His family joined him later that year. He returned in 1983 to Fort Hood, Texas. He had one short tour in 1986 to Korea, returning to Fort Hood where he retired from the Military in 1989. He worked for the Decade Census of 1990 in Austin, TX till that finished in 1990

He lost his step-son, Joshua David in 1990 to a tragic accident on September 2, 1990 in Texas. Dennis then went to work for Sallie Mae Loan Services in 1991 until 2006. He worked Finance Services till he retired in Killeen, Texas. He traveled and visited relatives for those years till his death in 2015.
Dennis was a very loving, caring, attentive husband, father, brother, son, grandfather and friend who will be missed greatly by his whole family and wife.
