SFC (Ret.) Homer J Vaillancourt Jr.

SFC (Ret.) Homer J. Vaillancourt Jr., age 57 passed away January 20, 2018, surrounded by his family at his home. He was born November 26, 1960 in Winchendon, MA to Claudette Vaillancourt and the late Homer Vaillancourt.

Homer was a 1979 graduate of Murdock High School in Winchendon, MA. After graduating he joined the United State Army. Homer serviced his Country for 20 plus years before retiring as a Sergeant First Class. After retiring from the US Army, SFC (Ret.) Vaillancourt was employed with the City of Killeen from 2004 until December 2017.

He was also preceded in death by his grandson Arik Davis.

SFC (Ret.) is survived by his three children; daughter Teri Davis and her husband Russell of Gatesville, TX, daughter Felicia Vaillancourt and a son Homer J. Vaillancourt III both of Copperas Cove, TX.

He also leaves to cherish is many memories three grandchildren; Anthony and Russell Davis both of Gatesville, TX and Jagger Vaillancourt of Copperas Cove, TX, a sister Joni Goreckie and her husband Billy, two brothers Steven and Bruce Vaillancourt all of Massachusetts.

The Vaillancourt family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Copperas Cove. Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 AM on Friday, January 26, 2018 in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Copperas Cove. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
