Martin Richard Neault

The funeral service will be held at 3pm Friday, May 31st at Holy Family Catholic Church; Fr. Chris Downey will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 – 7pm and a Rosary from 7-8 pm at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Copperas Cove. Burial will immediately follow the funeral Mass at Cove Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Crawford Bowers Funeral Home-Copperas Cove.

Martin was born in Detroit, MI on July 15, 1929 to Dona and Leona Neault. He received all of his schooling from the Catholic Schools in the community.

Martin was married to Sheila Waylen on The Fourth of July 1953 in Westbury, Wilts. England.

Martin was a member of the United States Army on active duty for 21 years. Among his many military assignments were 3 tours of combat duty in the Republic of South Vietnam. Following his retirement from military service, Martin began a second 20 year career with the City of Copperas Cove as Street Superintendent. Martin was a member of The Knights of Columbus.

Martin is survived by Sons Patrick (Mary Lou), Paul, Peter (Cindy), Daughter Teresa Pearce (Randy); and grandchildren Millisa, James, Trevor, Manny, Taylor, Emma, Lily; great-grandchildren Jonah, Lily, Elizabeth, Noah, Zackary; brothers Clement and Gerald and sisters Rose and Clara.

Martin is preceded in death by wife Sheila, daughter-in-law Linda, and his parents Dona and Leona.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the charity of choice in Martin’s name.
