Mr. Otho King was born July 24th, 1943 in Taft, Texas to the late Radie B. Sr. and Justine King. On February 16th, 2021 heaven called Otho King to his final resting place to fill a vacant seat and be a guardian angel watching over his loved ones.
Otho King joined the military at 17 years old and served 25 years in the U.S. Army. While in the army he was an Operating Room Specialist as well as a Laundry & Bath Specialist and retired as a Master Sergeant (MSG) E-8. He was awarded:

His passions were fishing, going to flea markets, auctioning, and volunteering within the community. He was well versed in many different languages and had a great sense of humor. He received an award from the Kempner Volunteer Fire Department for his many years as an acting auctioneer with their yearly fundraising auction and received a retirement plaque last year (2020). His passion led him to open up OK Corral Auction in the late 80’s and then opened his own local flea market in Kempner which he continued weekly even after his auctioneer days.
He was preceded in death by his parents Radie B. King Sr. and Justin King. As well as two brothers Radie B. King Jr. and Clifford King Sr.
He left behind three beautiful children: Thuy Nguyen, Rose Mary Kim, Rose Lien Nguyen. Grandchildren: Thomas King, Jessica Kim, Jayda Kim, and Jordan Nguyen. Siblings: Irene Henderson, Katherine Heslip, Johnny King, Bernard King, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. As well as a close loved one to the family Gisela Nena.
