Services with full military honors for Mr. Rosa will be held on Monday, August 18 at 10:00 am at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Peter was born on January 12, 1962 in Bronx, New York to Pedro and Iris Martinez Rosa. He joined the Army in February 1979 in Bronx, New York and served until his retirement in December of 1999. Mr. Rosa retired as a SFC and received numerous awards and citations during his service in the Army. Peter married Marguerite Rodriguez in 1980 in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Rosa worked for Dell and as a general contractor for Black Box in Austin until his death.
Peter was preceded in death by his father and a brother, John C. Rosa.
He is survived by his wife, his mother, as well as two sons, Peter Rosa Jr. and Christopher Rosa, two sisters Barbara Rodriguez and Angela Rosa, and a brother Joseph Montalvo.
A visitation will be held on Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove is in charge of the arrangements.
