

During her work career, she was a secretary for the General of 2nd AD, Fort Hood; Secretary for the Chancellor of Central Texas College; and Secretary for Fairview Baptist Church. She was also a member of the American Business Women's Association, and the Baptist Women's Association.
She took great satisfaction in spending time with family and friends. She was born to Edna Rachel (Cunningham) and William Rufus Yoders on July 26, 1927, in Washington County, Pennsylvania. She married Maclorn J. Marteney on July 11, 1951. She is survived by her son, Randall J. Marteney, and wife, Sabrina; and son William J. Marteney, and wife, Linda; five grandchildren; Robert Marteney, Randi Gower, Jason Dillard, Daniel Dillard, and Christopher Marteney; three step-grandchildren, Kenneth Harrington, Thomas Harrington, and Gregory Harrington; and nine great-grandchildren, Rachel Dillard, Kylie Marteney, Hana Gower, Leigha Dillard, Brayden Marteney, Caitlyn Dillard, Payton Marteney, McKenzie Dillard, and Aiden Dillard.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Maclorn J. Marteney, daughter, Diana L. Dillard, son-in-law, Ted Dillard, and grandson, Douglas Dillard.
Services will be held at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 211 West Avenue B, Copperas Cove, TX. The Family will receive visitors, Friday, May 27th from 6-8 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service officiated by Pastor Scott Hamilton on Saturday, May 28th at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Copperas Cove City Cemetery.
