

Raymond Phillip Trevino was born on October 10, 1954, in Fort Bliss, Texas and died on December 4, 2025, in Copperas Cove, Texas. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Eva Maria Trevino, his maternal grandparents Erich and Ottilie Kuhndel, a sister Linda, a brother Glen, his brother-in-law Michael Temple and his Aunt Erika Bennett.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Trevino of 39 years of Copperas Cove, TX and a brother James (Linda) Trevino of Copperas Cove, TX, sisters Diana (Kenneth) Cline of Liberty Hill, TX, Yvonne (Richard) Davis of Copperas Cove, TX, a nephew Jason (Brandi) Davis of Copperas Cove, TX, sister in law Sharon Ellsworth, grandniece Alana Davis of Copperas Cove, Tx, nieces Shelby Reesing of Bertram, TX, and Shanna Brooks of Copperas Cove, TX, his Uncle William Bennett of Sarasota, FL, along with numerous cousins, friends, and two fur babies, Sarah and Suzie.
Raymond and his family moved to Copperas Cove in July 1972. He graduated from Copperas Cove High School in 1973. At the age of 16 he started to work for AAFES Post Exchange in Fort Knox, KY and transferred to AAFES Post Exchange in Fort Hood TX where he remained until he retired after 38 years. He was dedicated to his job and to the people he worked with. Raymond loved to work with his hands, whether it was working with wood or cars. He was a storyteller and a joker; he liked to make people laugh. Raymond played the drums in high school and continued playing where later in life he played in several bands. Raymond participated in car shows where he showed his 1972 Blue Chevy Chevelle and won several awards and prizes.
In lieu of flowers, Elizabeth has requested that a donation be made to an animal shelter of your choice or a book at the Copperas Cove Library, 501 S. Main St. Copperas Cove, TX.
