

Sun Chae Afferbach went to heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He called her home after her valiant and courageous battle with stage 4 lung and brain cancer. She passed away in her sleep at home 11:30am Sept. 28, 2016. Sunrise for Sunchae also known as “Sunny” was Feb. 6th 1950 in Ansan, S. Korea. She was the child of father: Gui Soon Lee, Mother: Ki Nam Lee. Sunny had one younger brother Taeja Lee. Her Survivors include her husband: Lee Afferbach of Copperas Cove; 3 daughters Delores Batiste (Michael) of Phoenix, Az. Sun Chae Davis (Marieo) of Vallaeo, Ca. and Lynette Joiner of Az; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and her dog Katy. Sunny lived a very happy life and always saw the best in all people! Family meant the world to her. Her favorite past times were playing bingo, shopping, fine dining at the best restaurants and going to church! Sunny was a member of For Who So Ever Will Church and G3 both of Killeen. She was strong in her Christian faith and always prayed for everyone. Also everyone at Management Team Cam 7 North, Christal Thomas RN Nursing Director, Kasey RN, Monica LVN, Kristi Rn, Stephanie D. CNA, Stephanie C PCA, Angelica CNA, Dr. Austin Meeting. The funeral service is being handled by Crawford and Bowers Funeral Home, 211 W Ave B Copperas Cove, TX 76522 254-547-1275. Viewing is from 9am – 10am Saturday and the service 10am October 8, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial immediately after at Copperas Cove City Cemetery. A dinner will follow the burial at For Who So Ever Will Church at 3310 S Florence Road Killeen, Texas. Bishop David Shaver will be officiating over the services.
In lieu of flowers a memorial donation to the American Cancer Society in Sun Chae Afferbach’s name would be appreciated or to the charity of your choice. All are welcome to attend and God bless you all!
