Just wanted to stop in and say I miss you, Nanny. I have no clue where this is going to be sent but I figured writing out my feelings was better than bottling them in. I miss your wisdom, your beauty, I miss you. We started talking more when you got ill and i’m sorry Nanny for not having the beautiful types of talks we had sooner than we did. I’ll be sure to reach out to Paran and the boys today. Love you with everything, miss you even more.

Hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on you friends and family for strength, and always remember how much you and family are loved.

Working with & becoming friends with Tammy was a godsend in my life.  Finding out that we were two Midwestern girls far from home, living with the true loves of our lives, and raising boys was only the beginning of our connection.  Over the years, we realized that we had so much in common that it was strange sometimes- I would even have to say “Tammy, get out of my head!”  She knew what I was thinking before I ever said it out loud & she would often finish my sentences.
I so admired the fact that Tammy loved her family with admirable fierceness, and she would share the stories, photos, and memories with me every day!  I came to know you all through her devotion to you.  Always know that she was a champion for all of you!
She was my guidepost, my rock, & my friend - never to be forgotten❣️

Carl and family, I am so sorry for your loss of your wife. I am praying that God wrap his loving arms around you and your family.

I worked with Tammy for 21 years.  She was always there to listen to me about everything and I was always there to listen to her. We got to know each others families through our stories.  When you see someone almost everyday for that long you know all their little ways. She was a smart cookie and quick witted. She was also very kind and nice to all the new teachers and staff every new school year and got to know them.  We worked with  7 different principals and many many teachers and secretaries. She always was so helpful and willing to  help and listen to them. No one was left out when she planned things for the school.   I have lots of memories of good laughs with Tammy. She was such a great person and I don't know anyone who loved their family more. She was so very proud of all of them. Her grandkids especially.  
We will all miss Tammy.  She will forever be remembered. I like to remember all the fun times. That helps so much in the sadness.

Tammy was truly one of a kind. We worked together for eight years and not a day went by that she didn’t yell, “Hey, short one, come here!” I can still see her smiling face sitting behind her desk running a tight ship. I spent many hours sitting in that chair eating candy!!   Tammy loved her family and I feel like I know Carl, the boys, Hailey, Bre, Macy, and Skylar. She loved all of you so much and never missed a moment to brag. I am blessed to have known Tammy and able to call her a friend. Godspeed Tammy!! Love you! ❤️

Thank you Tammy for the countless times I came to you for advice and you shared words of wisdom. Thank you for listening with an open mind and for giving me reasons to smile. Your kindness and the way you treated strangers never went unnoticed. Strangers soon became friends because you welcomed them, you welcomed us. Your compassion for your co-workers made it an honor to work with you. You were the light at the end of some of our very dark days when we just wanted to quit. You would be there for us even when you were going through so much. You will be missed. We will pray for your family and forever be thankful for everything your have done for others.

This a friend will be here for you if you need a good friend and a person for you and yours family. You 

What an amazing woman you were Tammy!  You blessed so many with your words and your actions. To know you was to love you and in that we all find peace. So many memories of sitting at your desk and talking. Having you listen and share your experiences and express your opinions on what was right or wrong. I don’t think you realized how many people you touched. How many of us pride our daily decisions on what you shared with us in those talks.  I will forever be grateful for you Tammy. You were the rock that held S. C. Lee together. Watch over us all now.

It’s been so long since I’ve seen you but I want to thank you for always making me and our entire class of 2002 feel special and loved. I remember my first party in junior high at your house...I remember many talks with you...I remember laughing, cheering, and shouting at games throughout high school. You are beautiful and will forever be missed...you changed many lives to include mine by just taking the time to converse, listen and offer solid advice to teenagers who thought they new it all! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Words just don’t do it today. I spent a lot of time sitting at Tammy’s desk at Lee. We talked about her kids, school, life, everything. Tammy was a treasured friend, an awesome mom and a fabulous human. My deepest sympathies and prayers for Carl and the family. ❤️

Tammy was the most genuine person I have ever met. She was my work mom when I was at Lee. Tammy was a voice of reason, friend, mentor, and just about everyone’s go to when they needed something ,needed to complain about something, needed advice or just needed to sit at that chair in front of her desk to breathe. Tammy taught me more than I ever imagined anyone would be able to and sat back and watched me earn my cougar stripes as she called them while dealing with a very irrate parent. She worried about everyone she worked with and cared about, but had no problems telling us if she thought we had done something wrong. I remember the first time I was planning a trip to WV. She sat across from me at her desk, her hands crossed (like she always did) and told me,” don’t go to this guys house! Especially if he has a basement. I know what happens, I watch CSI!!” 😂 She made me promise to text her when I got here and let her know I was OK. Even after I moved to WV, she checked up on Chloe and myself and eventually Will as well. There are no word to even begin to describe how I feel about the passing of Tammy. It isn’t fair, I will say that and I do know that there is a huge hole in so many hearts right now. Tammy left her mark on so many people in so many ways. She will never be forgotten and I guarantee we will all carry a piece of her in our hearts forever.

Tammy was one of the good guys. Always ready with a smile and kind words. I always avoided going to the main office at school, unless it was to stop in and say hi to Tammy. I'll miss her ...


Tammy was one of the first school secretaries I ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was by far one of the kindest, most understanding and patient women I ever had the pleasure of working with. She taught me more than I think we both realized at the time, while helping me budget for and sell yearbooks. Prayers to her family, she will be sorely missed. ❤️🌹💐🙏🏻

Tammy was a wonderful, giving, hard working lady. I was very fortunate to have had the honor of knowing and working with her. 
She was the campus coordinator for Copperas Cove school district at S.C. Lee and we shared many phone calls and emails for over 12 years (many laughs during that time). 
My prayers to all her family member's and friends! She will be deeply missed. 
We should take comfort in knowing she is now in Gods hands and there is no safer or better place to be.

My husband and I feel very grateful to have known Tammy. In the two short years we worked with her at SC Lee, she impressed upon us so much wisdom and life lessons. We all took our turns sitting in front of her desk chatting about life and family (and eating from her candy bowl). I will always remember the interesting stories she told me about her travels and the loving way she spoke of her family. My heart hurts for the loss her family surely must be feeling. I hope they know just how much she meant to so many people.

When we met Tammy  she was a joy to talk to.  I remember when we all met in San Antonio  to go to Sea World, we had a beautiful  time together, that's when you get those moments with family to cherish forever.  Larry  and I will miss  her dearly but I know with God we will always think of the good times and always keep praying for Carl and his family. Tammy always had a smile for everyone and always had time to listen to if someone needed to talk.  She was a wonderful woman and I feel honored to have known her.

Paran, Bran, Bubba, Hailey, and the kids, I love you all so very much. Such a close knit family, with SO much love. There wasn’t a conversation nanny and I would have when we wouldn’t talk about you guys. I can’t begin to imagine what you all are going through but know in the ways I can be, I am here. Paran, I love you so much. You and nanny gave me so many memories that I’ll forever cherish. Bub and Bran, I love you guys so much. We were an inseparable trio growing up and your mom shared so many stories and pictures of us all. She was such a light and she shared so much wisdom that I’ll never forget. Again, I love you all and together we will get through.

There's a difference between a leader and a dictator. Tammy was a true leader who had endless love for her family. Thank you Tammy for loving my family and I. Thank you for all the talks and for being my mom away from home. I will forever miss you. 

Mrs. Boast was a kind lady that I worked with at S.C.Lee. She will be truly missed. I am so thankful for her kindness and warm spirit. Her words of encouragement helped me through some difficult times. I will be praying for the family and the friends of Mrs. Boast.

   The best listener. The most trustworthy to confide in. She was the most ‘real’ person I’ve ever had the PRIVILEGE of knowing. I was so honored that she shared her time with me. The highlight of my day was when I made the time to plop down in front of her desk and chat. Her circle was small.  I cherished every talk. 
         No one could’ve loved their family more. She had so many stories of her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved them all so very much. Tammy was always so proud to show off their pictures. 😍🥰. To all of you, if you ever need anything, I will be there for you. 🙏🏻

Thank you so much to the entire Boast Family for sharing Tammy with us!  I joined the Lee family in August of 2011 and immediately Tammy stepped in and helped raise me!  She guided me in all things professional and many things personally. She saved me from crazy people and parents.... warned me when our wonderful Principal was not in the mood... guided me even when I met my husband. I heard endless stories about Carl... the grand babies.... and of course Brandon. I felt like I knew you all so well.  Tammy you have touched my life in so many ways! I have missed you!  I will miss you!  And you will always be in my heart!  Heaven gained an Angel!  My deepest sympathy to the entire family! 

Mrs. BOAST, "Boss Lady" is what we called her. She was my go-to person when I first got to Lee 7 years ago. Her smile could light up a room. I loved to hear her stories about her family.  The one story I loved the most is that I found out we are both from Akron, Ohio.  Grew up in the same part of that area as well. Small world.  Her wisdom, love, and honesty left a mark in my life. My deepest sympathy to the Boast family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Tammy Boast, you will be missed!

My first day at S.C Lee she made me feel like part of the family. She always had a smile and was always caring, had a kind word, when you were down she would encourage you and made you feel like you matter. She had a beautiful heart and left a mark.
