Annie Mae Suggs

Celebration of Life Services for Annie Mae Kelley Suggs, 97, is set for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Chewalla Baptist Church with Bro. Richard Doyle and Bro. Jetta Forsythe officiating. Burial will be in Indian Creek Cemetery.

Annie Mae died January 1, 2017 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born July 28, 1919 in McNairy County, TN to the late James Abner and Lila Crawford Kelley. She was a member of Chewalla Baptist Church and a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, playing the piano, flowers, watching TV and most of all spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Guy Suggs; her son, James Suggs; her grandchildren; Greg Suggs, Annie Lawrence; her parents and her sisters Jewel Martindale and Clytee Johnson.

She is survived by her children; Wade Suggs, Randall (Mary Frances) Suggs, Wayne (Barbara) Suggs, Gary (Elsie) Suggs, Eloise Beavers, Debbie (Donnie) Lawrence; 17 grandchildren, several great and great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 to service time on Wednesday. Visitation and service will be held at Chewalla Baptist Church.
