Barbara Butler

Celebration of Life service for Barbara Ann Butler 77, are set for 2:00 p.m. Monday at Tuscumbia Baptist Church with Bro. Rodney Whittemore, Regan Carpenter and Rory Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in the Tuscumbia Baptist Church Cemetery.

A receiving of family and friends for Barbara will be held Monday, from 11:00 AM to 1:50 PM at Tuscumbia Baptist Church.

Barbara died August 16, 2019 at the home of her daughter in Moulton, Al. She was born November 23, 1941 in Alcorn Co. MS. To the late Martin Gaines Dixon and Stella Nichols Dixon. She was a long time member at Tuscumbia Baptist Church, a 1960 graduate of Kossuth High School. She was retired from the Bishop Senior Citizens Center, she enjoyed sewing, shopping, cooking with family during the holidays, she loved her church, family and friends. Barbara was loving and caring mother to many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion (Junior) Butler; parents.

She is survived by her daughter Michelle Butler Carpenter (Rory); grandsons, Regan Carpenter, Cameron Carpenter; brother, Wendell Dixon (Joan); sister Linda Settlemires (Bobby); host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
