

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Rebecca Lynn "Becky" Dickerson, 75, will be held on Friday February 20, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Kim Ratliff officiating. A family and friends gathering will take place beginning at 12 noon until service time.
Becky passed away on February 11, 2026 at Cornerstone Health and Rehab in Corinth. She was born in Corinth on December 26, 1950 to the late James Milton and Lois Virginia Atkins Dickerson. She was the baby of the family and the lone girl among 3 older brothers. She was a 1968 graduate of Corinth High School and went on to graduate from Memphis State University with a bachelors in education. In her earlier years she worked in education as a teacher, then worked as a social worker but for most of her career she worked in office management at the Magnolia Hospital and Baptist Memorial in Booneville. She attended Christ United Methodist Church for many years and also was a member of Box Chapel Methodist Church. She loved singing in the church choir and was also a Sunday school teacher and active with my youth group. She was the chairman of March of Dimes charity with Magnolia Hospital and Baptist Hospital. Becky loved to travel and spend time with friends and family. Her grandsons were the light of her life and she was active in raising them.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Don Dickerson and his wife Greta and her nephew, Todd Dickerson.
Becky is survived by her daughter, Ellen Burkhalter, (Stephan Kossik); grandchildren, Hayden Kossik and Dylan Kossik (Richard); brothers, Lyle Dickerson (Jane) and Michael Dickerson (Susan); and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Dickerson, Chad Dickerson, Matt Dickerson and Drew Dickerson.
