

Funeral services for David Wayne Cook 75 are set for 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny McGill officiating. Burial will follow in the Forrest Memorial Park.
David died Wednesday November 21, 2012 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born March 4, 1937 in Alcorn Co. to the late Everett and Bertha Wilbanks Cook. He graduated from Kossuth High School in 1955, served in the US Army, he retired from Intex Plastic as a operator, was a member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church, an avid NASCAR and Jeff Gorden fan, enjoyed camping, fishing and doing sudko puzzles. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Everett Jr and Johnny Cook, father-in-law J.W. Flanagan
Survived by his wife of 50 years Rita Cook of Corinth, MS. daughter Sebrina (Jeff) West of Saltillo, MS. sons Scotty Cook of Colorado Springs, Co., Kerry (Shana) Cook of Corinth, MS. brothers Bill Cook of Corinth, MS., Jimmy Cook of Dresden, TN. Sisters Dorothy Honeycutt, Brenda Faye Talley, Darlene McClure all of Portage, IN. Eydie Copenhaver of Pierson, Fl. Mother-in-law Gladys Flanagan of Corinth, MS. grandchildren Jay West, Lindsey Whitlock, Col Cook, Ella Cook, great grandchildren Colyn and Rowyn West. Host of other family and friends.
