Debora Elizabeth Cochran

Debora Elizabeth Cochran, 67, went to rest in her eternal home on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at MS Care Center in Corinth. She was born November 19, 1957 to Earnest O. Cochran, Jr. and Joyce A. Briggs Johnson.

Debora was a devout member of Oakland Baptist Church; attending every service and helping with church activities. She graduated from Corinth High School in 1975. Debora then graduated from The University of Mississippi in Oxford, receiving a bachelor's degree. She enjoyed playing the piano, shopping and bingo. Debora will be missed by her community and peers.

Debora was welcomed home by her father; grandparents, Cecil Lee Briggs, Birdie May Whitehead Briggs, Ernest O. Cochran, Sr., and Rivers Elizabeth Cochran; and aunt, Linda Sue Briggs Roberts.

Debora leaves behind her mother, Joyce A. Briggs Johnson; brother, David Edward Cochran, sister, Dianne Cochran McKinney (James); uncle, James Larry Roberts; nieces, Waverley Cochran, Maira Cochran and Ashley Taylor; nephew, Steve Huggins (Vanessa); cousin, Brian Allen Roberts; and a host of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at McPeters Funeral Directors beginning at eleven o'clock in the morning, with Bro. Randy Bostick officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, November 3, 2025 beginning at five o'clock in the afternoon until eight o'clock in the evening and Tuesday from ten o'clock in the morning until service time.
