Doris J. Burns died Wednesday at Magnolia Regional Health Center.

Funeral Services will be Friday, May 27, 2011, 11:00a.m. at McPeters Chapel with burial in the Henry Cemetery.

Dr. Don Elliott will officiate.

Mrs. Burns was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She and her husband were co-owners of Burns-Denton Mortuary,

she was a dental assistant for Dr. Mathis and Dr. Thompson, an associate with the Security Bank and King and Stanley Company.

Mrs. Burns is survived by her sons, Sammy Burns and his wife Jo Lynn of Columbus, MS and Bobby Burns and his wife Christy of Corinth.

Her Grandchildren, Farris Burns, Joseph Burns, Rachel Burns, Mary Grace Burns, Andrew Burns, J. R. Burns and Sarah Kate Burns.

She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Burns; siblings, J. D. Johnston and Ellie Johnston; and her parents O. F. and Lona Johnston.
