Dorothy "Gran" L. Lomax Tate

Mrs. Dorothy "GRAN" L. Tate, age 85, died Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Magnolia Regional Health Center.

Services will be Tuesday, June 14, 2011, 2:00 pm at McPeters Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Forrest

Memorial Park Cemetery. Bro. Josh Hite will officiate. Family will receive friends Tuesday, 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m.

Gran was a former employee of the Itt Telcomm Company, Grace Bible Baptist Day Care and will be well remembered from the Jr. Food Mart. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Julia Lomax, five brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Garland Tate; a daughter, Rita Ragan (Scotty);

her grand daughters, Kelly Gray and Kimberly Moffett all of Corinth; great grandchildren, Ally MacKensey Gray, Christopher Saylor Wade Gray, ,Oaklea Kyle Moffett Ragan; Greenlea Kellianne Lipford; River Jaymes Tate Rogers;

Lennon Kannon Presley Bush; her step children, Brenda Fitch; Donna McAlexander (Sidney); Sharron Maurey (Joe) all of Holly Springs, Tim Ragan of Chewalla, TN; four step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.
