Ellon Pittman

A Celebration of Life Service for Etta Ellon Pittman, 63, is set for 11am Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Rodney Whittemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Tuscumbia Baptist Church Cemetery. A Family and Friends Gathering will be Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 and Saturday from 10am to service time.

Ellon passed away on July 23, 2025 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born November 4, 1961 to the late Luther and Elsie Bass. She was a member of Tuscumbia Baptist Church. Ellon attended school at Chalybeate. She was a 1979 graduate of Walnut High School and graduated from Northeast MS Community College. Over the years she worked at Dr. Jim Jackson Veterinary and Vet Med; most recently she worked at Kroger in the E-Commerce Dept.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Greg Bass; and father-in-law, Bill Pittman.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Randall Pittman; daughters, Kara Kyle and Kelly Pittman; granddaughter, Alexis Pittman; mother-in-law, Ray Pittman; sister and brother-in-law Rita and Alan Parker; nieces, Lesa Jones and Alicia Watson; nephews, Michael Parker and Eric Parker; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Cody Jones, Buddy Jones, Hunter Jones, Josh Kyle, Robert Bates, and Timmy Wilbanks.
