
Ernestine Rencher
BIGGERSVILLE — Funeral services for Ernestine Taylor Rencher, 87, are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at McPeters Chapel with burial at Forrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Rencher died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2010, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was a charter member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Hinkle Homemakers Club, where she received numerous awards for her handwork, both county and statewide. Her expertise was crochet and quilting. Her quilt recently received first place in Jackson. She was a member of the Veterans Womens Auxiliary and is known to “say what she meant and meant what she said.”
Mrs. Rencher was preceded in death by her husband, Erby M. Rencher; her parents, James Ernest and Bettie McCalla Taylor; a brother, Leroy Taylor; and a nephew, Mike Taylor.
Survivors include one daughter, Theresa Leeth-Hallonquist of Corinth; two granddaughters, Sharron and Darrin McCullough of Alpharetta, Ga., and Ginger Leeth of Corinth; a nephew, Johnny Wayne Taylor of Corinth; two great-grandchildren, Savannah Kay McCullough and Colin Leeth McCullough; and her extended family and many friends.
Pallbearers are Hal Cooper, Milton Barker, Dan Leeth, William Walker, Joe Nelms and Brad Nelms.
Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Shaw, Dr. Leonart Pratt and Travis Basden.
The Rev. Jerry Kelly and the Rev. Dennis Smith will officiate.
Visitation is Saturday from 3 until 6 p.m.
