Gary John Boyd

Mr. Boyd died February 25, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was born June 24, 1953 to the late James Chester and Annie Hudson Boyd. He He was a 1971 gruate of Walnut High School, he holds the record for most passes in a game. Mr. Boyd was a Material Schedule Coordinator for ThyssenKrupp for the past 32 years. He was an avid Ole Miss fan and sports fan having coached little league softball and was clock keeper for Walnut football games. He enjoyed fishing, working on his farm and spending time with his grandsons.

Preceded in death by his parents, sisters Patricia (Jimmy) Vick, Shirley (Joe) Jackson, brother-in-law Tom Hargis, father-in-law Cleatus Johnson.

Survived by his wife of 38 years Susan Johnson Boyd, daughters Lindsey Cardwell her husband Shane, Haley Winter her husband Kevin, grandsons Sawyer cardwell, Hudson Cleat Winter all of Walnut, MS. sisters Carolyn Hargis of Huntsville, Ark., Linda Gatlin and Janie Mathis both of Walnut, MS. 7 nephews, 11 nieces, host of other family and friends.
