Harold Hodum

Harold died on September 20, 2016 at his residence in Kossuth. He was born on September 1, 1944 in Alcorn Co. to the late Walter Hodum and Wilmer Null Hodum Bobo. He was a truck driver having worked for Crum Trucking, South Eastern, and Maddux Cars. He was of the Baptist faith. Harold enjoyed riding the country back roads and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Randy Hodum; brothers, J.W. Hodum and Gerald Hodum; mother and father-in-law, Sam and Daisy Caldwell; nephew, Chuck Butler; niece, Diane Hodum and brother-in-law’s, Danny Butler and Gary Pett.

Harold is survived his wife of 51 years, Dorothy Hodum; daughter, Teresa Downs (Wade); sister, Nita JoAnn Pett (Larry Tennyson); sister-in-law, Betty Butler; brother-in-law, Jimmy Caldwell (Sandra); nieces, Joy Caldwell, Sonya Collums (Jeff) and children, Aubrey, Reese, and Sawyer; nephews, Stevie and Donnie Hodum and a host of other cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be D. Junior Suitor, Mike Suitor, Phil Crum, Terry Hudson, Keith Downs, and Billy Rider.

Honorary Pallbearers are Wade Downs, Jeff Collums, Larry Tennyson, and Elbert Lee Null.
