Hazel Bernice Mills, 88, went to rest in her eternal home on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Cornerstone Rehabilitation in Corinth. Ms. Mills was born Saturday, June 1, 1937 to the late Luther Sanford Davis and Epsie Lee Brown in Savannah, TN.
Ms. Mills was a devout Christian whom loved and trusted in the Lord. She was a member of NorthSide Church of Christ in Corinth. She loved working outdoors, tending to her garden, flowers, and trees. When she was not outdoors, she could be found watching her favorite game shows and working crossword puzzles. She will be forever missed by her community and friends. The family would like to send a special "Thank You" to Tiffany MCDowell, Terri and Greg Walker, and Carolyn Faye Harvill for their dedication and support.
Ms. Mills was welcomed home by her parents; and husband of seventy-one years, Paul Mills.
Ms. Mills leaves behind her legacy of daughter, Paula Green (B.A. Anthony); sisters, Gladys Marie Lively, Brenda Sue Harvill and Carolyn Faye Harvill (Larry); grandchildren, Riley Austin and Sommer Austin; great grandchildren, Jace Austin and Ryker "Monkey" Austin; and her great granddog, Tiki.
Pallbearers for today's service will include Riley Austin, "B.A." Anthony Green, Jace Austin, Kevin Bain, Greg Harvill, and Gage Goodson.
A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2025 at McPeters Funeral Directors beginning at three o'clock in the afternoon with Michael Harvill officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at one o'clock until service time. Following the service Ms. Mills will be interned at The Valley Of The Dogwood Cemetery.
