Ingrid Lokey

A Celebration of Life Service for Ingrid B. Lokey, 76, is set for 11:00 am Monday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Ralph Culp officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth National Cemetery.

The family and friend gathering will be on Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 and Monday from 10:00 to service time.

Ingrid died August 27, 2025, at her residence. She was born August 25, 1949, in Guatemala to the late Victor Manuel and Amelia Consuelo Bergmann. That is where she met the love of her life while he was traveling through, they married and moved to Corinth to raise their family. She was a caregiver for many years; who enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J V Lokey; her son, Robert Lokey; her parents; and her special friend, Jimmy Hathcock.

She is survived by her daughter, Effie “Connie” Lokey; brothers, Guillermo Federico Bergmann, Gustavo Adolfo Bergmann and Walter Bergmann (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Shianna Lokey Hopkins (Jared) and Amelia Noel Lokey; great grandchildren, Liberty Grace Lokey, Robert Grayson Hopkins, and Ryan Tucker Hopkins; three other grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jane August; nephew, Alex Bergmann; nieces, Ingrid Velez and Misty Bergmann; special niece, who she called her little mouse, Rosanne Rorie; and a host of other family and friends.
