Mr. Berry died January 23, 2015 at his residence in Bradenton, Fl. He was born November 23, 1916 in Acton, TN to the late Joe Brown Berry and Mamie Tucker Berry. During WWII he worked for Fisher Aircraft making bombers for the war afterwards he went to work for International Harvester in Memphis that is where he retired after 30 years, he was co-owner of Berry and Martin Iron Works, was a member of White Station Church of Christ serving as a Deacon while living in Memphis, TN. He and his wife moved back to Corinth after retirement where he was a member of Foote Street Church of Christ and was an antique dealer.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Berry; one son Jeff Berry, and one sister Mary Jewell Wilson
Survivors include one son Jim Berry of Corinth, MS; two daughters Camille Hatcher of Bradenton, FL, Susan Lyster of Darby, VT; one brother Joe Bailey Berry of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren John Hatcher, Larry Hatcher, Angela Lang, Ryan Lyster, Alan Lyster, Erik Lyster, Laura Lyster-Mensh, Justin Berry, 10 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
