
Mr. Bryant, age 87 died Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Dogwood Assisted Living. He was a WWII veteran of the US Navy and a member of First United Methodist Church where he served as a Lay preacher and Sunday School teacher. Mr. Bryant earned his Doctorate of Law from Vanderbuilt University before serving two years on the Tennessee State Legislature. He was a founding actor of the Corinth Theater Arts. Mr. Bryant retired after 25 years of service with ITT as a sales representative. He was active in Boy Scout Leadership and was an avid golfer and tennis player.
Survivors include; two sons, Jimbo Bryant (Margie) and Rob Bryant both of Corinth; three daughters, Barbara Keller (Eugene) of Corinth, Kathy Williams (David) of Oakland, Tn., and Allison Bryant of Oxford; one brother, Billy F Bryant (MaryNelle) of Nashville; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren
Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his parents, Robert P and Ona Rae Pace Bryant; his wife, Iris Louise Bryant; one brother; and one sister.
