Jerry Hughes Deese

Celebration of Life Services for Jerry Hughes Deese, 76, are set for 1:00p.m. Monday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Nelson Hight and Bro. Jared Hight officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Park.

Mr. Deese died on Wednesday, March 23, 2017 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS.

Mr. Deese was a member of Church Of The Crossroads who enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his great-grandson Keaton who brought joy to his life. He was a 1959 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School in Paducah, KY and was top salesman for Allstate for four consecutive years in the Chicago area. He was very generous with his time when people were sick and in need. His hobbies included collecting and trading knifes and pens and was an avid photographer who enjoyed taking photos of his grandchildren and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Jessie Bingham Deese.

He is survived by his son, Wayne Deese of Corinth; his daughter, Dana Renee (Scott) Pittman of Ethel, LA.; his sister, Peggy (Paul) Perry of Corinth; his nieces, Patty (Michael) Wilbanks of Corinth, Ms and Pam (Carroll) Morrow of Hernando, MS; his grandchildren, Lindsey (Trey) Morphis, Jessie Pittman, Henrey Deese, Graham Deese and his great-grandchild, Keaton Morphis.

Visitation will be held Sunday 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
