Jerry Dean Hill

A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Jerry Hill, 76, will be held at 11:00 am Friday, May 23, 2025 at Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until service time. Roger Niswander will officiate the service.

Jerry passed away peacefully at his home on May 20, 2025. He was born in Cairo, MS to the late Andrew Jackson and Beatrice Rushing Hill. He was a 1966 graduate of Booneville High School. Jerry served this country in the U.S. Navy for 4 years, spent 2 years in the Navy Reserve, was 32nd Degree Mason, and a Shriner. He worked 32 years for Bell South as a technician before his retirement. He was responsible for implementing and installation of the 911 system in Corinth. He enjoyed fishing and just relaxing at home watching TV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Frank Hill; sister, Syble Wright and Mable Timbes; and a baby twin sister, Shirley Hill.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Melissa Hill; sons, Jason Hill (April), Tate Hill (Kayla Moody) and Bryan Hill (Danielle); grandchildren, Taylor Hill, Laura Averett, Bo Hill, Blaire Hill, Bryce Hill and Baylor Hill; nieces, Shirley Tabler and Oneta Cole; his furry friend, Dominic; and a host of other family and friends.
