

Funeral services for Jesus Manuel Alago, 65, of Burnsville, are set for 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Fred Wilbanks officiating. There will be a private burial at a later date.
Mr. Alago died on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. He was born in Puerto Rico on October 10, 1945 to the late Felix Marin and Celia Gonzales Alago. During his life, he was a lead man in a garment factory that provided clothes to funeral homes for the deceased, he worked in maintenance for a law firm, and retired from Aqua Glass where he was late neither late or missed a day of work in the 10 years he was there.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Sylvia and Nini Marin.
He is survived by two sons, Manny Alago and wife Betty of Burnsville, Daniel Alago and wife Jennifer of New York City, NY; the mother of his children, Iris Alago; his step-mother, Lilian Marion; four brothers, George, Tito, Sammy, and Felix Alago; five sisters, Maria Rosado and husband Braulito, Magdahlia, Lydia, Sabalita, and Christina Marin; five grandchildren, Gabriel, Joseph, Sierra Alago, Isaiah Sample, and Jimmy Hester II; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M on Saturday and will conclude at funeral time.
