Karen Steward

Karen was a 1967 graduate of Biggersville High School. She dedicated over 30 years of her career to working at Quartet in Booneville. She later served as a hotel front desk agent for more than 20 years.

Karen was a wonderful cook; she enjoyed baking and cooking for her family during holidays and family gatherings. She most recently attended Booneville Church of Christ, reflecting her commitment to her community and faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sherry Joyner; and a niece, Gale Joyner.

Karen is survived by her brothers, Bryan Steward (Diane) of Frisco, TX and Keith Steward (Cindy) of Rienzi, MS; nieces and nephews, Paul Joyner (Denise), Emmeline Steward, Chase Steward, Delaney Steward, and Will Steward; great-nieces and nephews, Josh Smith (Paige), Lauren Joyner, Chesne Joyner, and Aniston Joyner; two great-great-nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Karen Steward will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on December 6, 2025 at 1pm. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 11am until service time.

Her gentle spirit and faithful nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude or Pinevale Children's Home. These were organizations near and dear to her heart.
