Funeral services for Kenneth W. Houston 81 will be 2:00 P.M. Friday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Seth Kirkland and Rev. Jackey Ward officiating, burial will be in Henry Cemetery; Kenneth was born in Sarepta, Ms. September 10th. 1931, the son of the late Harry and Bessie Rushing Houston, he was the last survivor of seven siblings, he died January 15th. 2013 in Adamsville, Tn. he was a well know businessman having owned Sherer’s Restaurant for many years and later Jr. Food Mart on Shiloh Rd. he graduated from Corinth High School, attended Memphis State University, served in the U S Army in Korea.

Preceded in death by his parents – three brothers: Herman, James, and Billy Houston – three sisters: Helen Cushman, Quay Prestage, and Marie Prestage.

Survived by his wife of 56 years Mary Alice Nelson Houston, two sons: Kent Houston (Leigh) of Corinth – Jason Houston, Seattle, WA. Sister in law: Ella Jean Whalen (David) of Olive Branch, Ms. several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Friday at the Funeral Home
