Opal Wilbanks Butler

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Bro. Travis Shea, Trent Nethery, and Eric Hopper officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at Bethlehem Baptist Church and continue until service time.

Survivors include one son, Jerrel Butler (Mary) of Houston, Ms.; three daughters, Jane Grimes of Walnut, Judy Montgomery (Buster) of Walnut, and Joy Ray of Tiplersville; one sister, Frances (Floy) Parker of Corinth; eight grandchildren, Eric Hopper (Shannon), Karyn Hopper Vick (Steven), Jonathan Montgomery (Cara), Joshua Montgomery (Fiancée-Abbey Tabita), Danielle Palmer (Nile), Stacy Butler, Michelle Butler, and Katherine Hatchett (Brian); and nine great grandchildren, Ethan Montgomery, Ava, Alyssa, and Adrian Palmer, Shaden and Brock Reesor, and Aeris, Annalise, and Elijah Hatchett.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lonnie and Hattie Gay Wilbanks; her husband, Elbert Butler; one son, James Butler; one sister, Beatrice Fiveash; and four brothers, Buford Wilbanks, Odis Wilbanks, Clarence Wilbanks, and Aaron Wilbanks; two grandsons, Kevin Hopper and Howard Montgomery .

Pallbearers will be Carl Wilbanks, Glen Fiveash, Ray Parker, Rex Parker, Bud Wilbanks, and Sam Kirby.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky Parker, Wayne Burrow, Dr. Carl Welch, and the staff of Landmark Alzheimer Unit.
